Can you integrate a piece of Open Source software and a piece of copyrighted software into a commercial bundled package ?

Response given by Howard Katz :
This depends completely on the license of the open source software. This table indicates which can be linked with proprietary software: http://developer.kde.org/documentation/licensing/licenses_summary.html

Niclas,
yes we need to clarify the question.
Maybe a simplified "business" chain (or "value" or "pleasure") that is expressed in your post could help :
- software developer,
- software copyright owner,
- software downstream user.
In France, when you develop software for an employer who grants you a salary, you waive upfront all the rights to the employer.
Then, it is the employer's call to decide what would be the licensing terms for the downstream users, [whatever ]Open Source, copyrighted or public domain.( please note that software patenting is not possible under French regulation).
(Thank you for your idea at the end of your post).
Digital social networks can be used for career or business development.
Since 2010, i have used them for nurturing knowledge in view to innovate.
This usage has turned into a collective intelligence and soft skills practice.
This blog traces my "best of" contributions.
